2025: not everything went as planned
Some wins, some pivots, some things I didn’t manage to keep up with
I’ve been seeing a lot of 2025 recaps lately. It’s a good exercise to realize everything you can do in a year and I encourage you to do it as well 😊
Feedbask: not the growth I expected, but a real shift in progress
More than 300 persons signed up and installed our widget.
Not bad. But most of them are on free plan as it’s quite generous.

So we started pivoting toward something much more concrete: customer support and introduced new plans. It still does customer feedback but now we want to improve the experience of customer having issue. No more emailing users to ask:
which page the bug happened on,
which browser they were using,
which plan did the customer subscribe
…
All of that comes automatically. And in 2026 it will be possible to automatically get a draft to answer to the client, based on previous answers + documents.
I hope this shift will let us convert more customers!

Subclip: unexpected video editing & translation tool
Without really planning it, I also launched subclip a video editing and translation software with Samik.
Voice + subtitles, in many languages.

We started as a Mac OS app, got a few sales then made a cloud version. Once cloud version is good enough we will upgrade the Mac OS version to get edit available even offline.
That new subclip version is extremely useful for tutorials, especially for multi-languages SaaS like IACrea. You record the video once, and then get it in several languages.
It’s brand new.
A lot of improvements are coming.
And that’s actually what makes it exciting 😍
Refindie: slower than expected
I like Refindie but it didn’t move forward the way I hoped.
We’re aware some improvements are missing and we’re currently thinking about how to handle it in 2026 due to a current lack of available time on tech side. I’ll share updates 😊
IACrea: +40% and a clear repositioning
IACrea grew by +40% this year. Not bad.
More importantly, there was a real shift:
Moving away from being seen “just” as a virtual staging tool, toward being a full marketing tool for real estate agents.
Some partnerships are still being finalized. I’m hoping 2026 will be a triple-digit growth year (at least 😄).
A challenge I didn’t manage to keep
I also set myself a challenge recently: writing every day and posting two videos per week.
I didn’t manage to stick to it. It was simply too much to start with, especially because I launched it at the worst possible time. I was working every day late into the evenings, including weekends.
So I didn’t manage to make it work. And that’s okay. But I do want to post more videos in 2026, published on YT. Just in a more realistic way, my own rythm without pressure like that newsletter. That way it stays something I enjoy 😊
On a more human level
Another big thing in 2025: more and more IRL meetings.
Conversations, events, real people behind projects. And I really hope to keep doing even more of that next year.
I don’t know exactly what 2026 will look like.
But if I had to sum up 2025: a lot of building, lessons, some frustration, many adjustments… and still the desire to keep going !

Thanks for reading, and keep building!
Feel free to share your recap as well, would love to read!
See you next year !
