800k+ impressions, yet only 4 sales

Recently several AI influencers tweeted about IACrea 😍. The posts have been seen 800k+ times 🤩.

But despite all the hype, only 4 visitors converted into paying customers.😱

How could the conversion be so low? It’s not their fault, stats were amazing. Let’s depict this situation 👇

While the impressive number of views, comments, likes, and shares reflects illustrated a high engagement, the underlying issue lies in the mismatch between their audience and the target demographic of IACrea's services.
Their audience consists of AI and online business enthusiasts. IACrea perfectly fits these criteria: yielding impressive home staged results by AI that make people eager to share and see more.
However, the primary clientele for IACrea remains real estate professionals. Although there may be some overlap between these groups, the majority of AI influencers’ audience does not represent IACrea's core customer base.

There was a high traffic after some posts, people wanted to see more IACrea’s photos and visited the website, but didn’t converted into customers.

Other factors could be the reasons of a low conversion, like a website not good enough. But In my particular case, I made some posts to the right audience and the conversion were significantly higher.

So what should you pay attention for, before hiring an influencer? It depends on your objective (conversion, traffic…) but you’ll likely get better conversion when their audience aligns closely with the target demographic, i.e when their interests and needs intersect with the product or service being promoted. In such cases, the influencer becomes a bridge, connecting the offering with a receptive audience, and unlocking the full potential of influencer marketing.
Also, be sure to check the engagement of the influencer, there’s a great free tool there to get the stats. The more people engage with the influencer, the better is it.
